Case Study: Validating Lead Exposure Mitigation at the UK’s University of Oxford

During a recent renovation at the University of Oxford, lead service mains were discovered, prompting comprehensive inspections and monthly water system flushing by the College. The College later approached Segura in autumn 2023 to test the water in a building near the problematic mains, which houses the IT department of about 40 people. In response, Segura created a testing schedule, collecting samples before and after flushing to assess the effectiveness of the routine in removing contaminants from the building's drinking water.
